About Anni Juhl Schacht
- to listen to Bach's music - and I expierience spiritual mathematics transforming into image, form and color
- to be on top of Fuglefjelden in the Faroe Islands - and I hear the music creating new images
- to witness the breath of a newborn child - and I sense all colors in an explotion of light
- to experiment, sketch, paint, a.s.o. - thats the way I feel life, it is as simple as that, with the richness of possibilities.
It is not romantic - it is a tough job in deep concentration, in which the line seeks and notes the essential issues to create the form, and the colors play with the theme, and at last the countless layers of the painting tell the unfinished story, which the may cross a latticework of Fibonnachi's numbers and the golden section.
No postulate, no headlines, but an endless search for the questions of tomorrow.
The finished painting - I have not made it yet, and if I find the answers and the painting was white, then it was the last painting.
